What you will learn:

  • Fundamental nonlinear relationship between software size (scope), productivity, time, effort, and quality, and their tradeoffs.
  • Defensible estimates are based on data from historical completed software projects that demonstrate true capabilities, either from your organization or QSM's large industry database.
  • Estimate software size using a wide variety of methods, such as T-Shirt sizing, Requirements, Function Points, Features, User Stories, Integrations, and more.
  • Quickly and easily calculate multiple estimate “what if?” scenarios to assess alternative strategies to quantify risk, optimize for project constraints
  • Customize SLIM to model your development environment and present estimates to stakeholders and decision-makers.
