October
19-20th, 2000 The Tower Club, McLean VA
Under
the banner "Sharing Our Knowledge", the annual QSM
Users Conference brought together almost 100 industry leaders
and users of QSM's Software
Lifecycle Management
(SLIM) program management
applications.
The QSM User's Conference provides
a forum to explore ways to more effectively use QSM's SLIM
project management software, ask questions of experts, listen
to industry-related speakers, and network with other software
professionals.
After
introductions and comments by Lawrence Putnam, Sr., QSM president
and CEO, the conference led off with a thought-provoking and
entertaining talk by industry consultant and author Tom DeMarco,
who discussed some of the things you don't read in books about
becoming a project manager. Other featured speakers included
representatives from the federal government, private sector
businesses, consultants and QSM staff.
The entire set of conference
presentation slides are available on our
