QSM Releases SLIM 9.0 for Enhanced Data Collection and Management

QSM is pleased to announce the availability of SLIM Suite 9.0. The new release provides users with enhanced data collection features to more accurately plan software development projects based on industry statistics and trends.

This updated version of QSM’s cornerstone product improves integration between the desktop and the web and streamlines data entry, historical data collection, and analysis to increase data quality and accuracy throughout the software development lifecycle.

In addition to integration and data entry improvements, other new features introduced with today’s release include:

  • Security: Enhanced protection against cross-site scripting or malicious content injection.
  • Reporting: Users can now create an unlimited number of custom View Layout reports that can be shared with other SLIM-DataManager databases or exported to Microsoft Office for further analysis.
  • Keyword Management: The SLIM-DataManager user interface now makes it even easier to create, edit, and manage keywords. Easily configurable Master Keyword lists promote consistent data collection across the enterprise and makes reordering or updating project tags easier than ever!
  • Analysis/Benchmarking: SLIM-Metrics’ user-friendly query engine has been redesigned to simplify sample and trend creation.

The 9.0 version of SLIM includes the features and enhancements that present project managers with the intelligence required for them to successfully and confidently make software project and development decisions for their organizations.
